the last numbers on my tyres is 15 but the diameter from rim to rim is 16 so what size wheel do i have 15 inch or 16 inch , cofused norman

15". The measurement is taken from bead seat to bead seat (the actual inner diameter of the tyre) not rim to rim.

15 inch - knock of the half inch difference per side - that is where the tyre sits in the rim - so 15 inch is the actual size

your wheel is 16 in but you tyres are 15 this is to stop them falling off

Well, since you can't put a 16-inch peg into a 15-inch whole, if your tire size ends with "...R15" then you have 15-inch wheels.
