Yes, you would have thought someone would have come up with a better system to lock a lightbulb into a socket.

That can be unpleasant. But, don't you hate it worse when you have to unscrew a broken lightbulb from a socket?

I kind of like that scratchy sound.
I hate the buzzing noise of the flourescent bulbs when they start to go out....
