Im researching neighborhoods in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. Can anyone give me their opinions on the following areas. I keep seeing listings for studios and 1 bedrooms from $800-$1050. I understand that is very low and that's why Im basically asking what's the catch? Im interested to know what you all think about these areas in terms of safety and locality. (Locality for me means, how far/accessible are they from West Hollywood).

-Glendale
-Downtown Los Angeles
-Korea Town
-Mid Wilshire
-Los Feliz
-San Fernando Valley
-Burbank
-North Hollywood
-Studio City

Thanks!

You have to visit the rental to judge. SOme kind of lie and claim to be in a area and its only near it. SOme areas have good and bad area. I wouldn't live in Korea town or midwilshire. Los Feliz is too expensive.

Los Angeles is the devil's waiting area. Move to SF.
