I think it is Regulus Black, but what is the A for? We don't know that the R and the B means Regulus Black. It could be anyone. What do you think???? Whatever the answer is, I know it'll be VERY important when the 7th book comes out.

If R.A.B is Regulus Black , who was with him while he got the locket? And how did he find out about it? Sirius said he was a less important death eater.

R.A.B could mean a number of things.
Regulus Black (R.A.B.) took the Horcrux from the cave - it is mentioned in Book 5 as a "heavy locket" that none of the "cleaners" at 12 Grimmauld Place were able to open. It was put into a rubbish bag, so where is it now?

Regalus Black, i dont think it would be an entirely new character becuase she likes to forshadow the big twists and turns, and if it a totally new person how will Harry ever figure out who it is. You know Sirius had an uncle with an A name that regauls could have gotten his middle name from....No i bet its regalus and that heavy locket that they found in Order of the phoenix will come into play...

i would probably go with you. but j.k is very sly and usually it's who you'd least expect like the half blood prince being snape. who would have though of that.
