They are or were the best swing jazz unusual and original band that has a sound of the 20's and stories in every song they do. How could anyone not love them. Talented people as this group The Squirrel Nut Zippers should never stop making music. I want to sit down and listen to all their songs again & again. Michele Kostelnik Parrillo on Facebook. Perhaps it had some thing to do with "The D and the A and the M and the N and A and the T -I -O-N" from the music world...
I dug 'em, and even bought the album

They probably are still around. They have made a number of versatile swing-jazzy music over the recent years. I even have 1 of their albums from 2001-02.
