well i am a hick and don't know of any other hicks that speak French with a southern accent..but if i ever meet one i would run the other way

You must have meet Hot Rod aka Rodney my hubby he can speak french with a southern drawl. Of course I have no idea what he is saying but its hot anyway

Cajun and Creole Culture in the southern Louisiana are just that.
They are part French, American Indian, and African-American as well.

I have a friend who's husband did that all the time.
my ex-husband used to speak german with a horrid texas accent....

i would look around and probably notice i was in louisianna and that they were speaking cajun french
then i would get the hel/ out of there as fast as i could
