Are there any models out there that have difficulty getting work cause of there belly piercing.

I too am i fellow model... and i deal with the same problem. I thing is that they acualy like it. And i am soooo proud of my piercing that i made a website for it. j/j. but really.... the peeps i work with love it. they always give me like half tops to show it off!

If your career is based upon the way your body looks, the smart thing to do would be to not poke any unnatural holes in it. Its just my opinion, but its better to be safe than sorry. Does a naval piercing really mean so much to you that youd risk losing work? If i was going to hire a model, i would want one without any piercings or tattoos.

It depends on the agency. If you want to model plain dresses and shirts, the piercing might get in the way or something. If you want to model for a place that sells swimsuits, it probably won't matter because there is nothing to get caught on it.

The problem will come if you have to take it out before it is healed, because it shows through a thin dress or gown. You are not supposed to remove it for a period of time after it's done or you won't be able to get it back in.

If you can take it out for some photo shoots, you shouldn't have a problem... and if you look in the Victoria's Secret catalouge, some of the girls have their belly-button pierced too.

It is not that bad of a hindrance but sometimes they are turned off my you having any type of tattoo's and piercings. If they say take it out just do whats best for your career.

Well, if they don't give you work, you can come over to my place and dance for me. I don't discriminate....Just Kidding! No really, if it is an issue, just take it out...I doube that they will be able to see the hole.

i dont htink it would, alot of the victoria secret models have them... but you shoudl ask your acgency about it.. just to be sure! ask your agency/boss! whoever hired you =]
