How/ Where can I find out what WWII medals my Father was issued. He has passed and so has his brothers and sister.
I have no other family and I would like to make a memorial to pass on to my son and grand children.

My Grandfather and my Great Uncle served in WW1. My Grandfather was wounded in a battle in France. He spent the rest of his life in a Veterans Hospital on Christie Street in Toronto, until he past away in the early 1960s.

If he was in the US Army contact the Veteran's Administration and get a copy of his service record.

If in the other contestants contact the archives of that country for the same.
