what would happen if you put paramecium in distilled water? i think that the vacuole would start bringing in water and pushing it out looking for food then eventually burst? but i dont know why, its just at theory. thanks in advanced!

You are correct - paramecia cannot survive in water that is pure. They will swell and burst.

Same with pretty much all cells, actually.

Since the concentration of water is less in the paramecium, water would flow into it and it would eventually burst...i'm pretty sure this is right, I haven't taken bio in a while!

the two answers before would be right except they forget or don't know one thing. paramecium have a contractile vacuole that expels water so they don't burst. otherwise, you are right, a cell would burst or lyse in pure water.
