Maybe someone will understand what I'm going through right now....I have a lot of people in my life, however, if someone was to ask me who are my closest friends, I really have no one to say.
How does one develop and/or deepen healthy, close friendships?

I also have a lot of people in my life, but not really anyone that I consider that close. I have had close friends in the past, but lost touch. I think that friendships become close by chance. I don't think I've ever had to work at it. It either clicks or it doesn't. You either feel comfortable or you don't. I don't know if there is one way to do it. Just feel out your existing friendships or make new friends. Best of luck to you!!!

Well You have to open up to someone you trust. I have the same issues.. The closest friends in my life are my sisters and brothers. I have issues with opening up and trusting people. I dont trust anyone since in Highschool over 8 years ago- all of the friends i thought i trusted turned on me and ended up stabbing me in the back. So its just a personal thing.. you will need to find someone that you know you can trust and then open up to them and Im sure they will do it back-- But dont worry I dont have any bestfriends.. My bestfriends are some people on the internet you can tell them everything and have them tell you what they think-- and they can tell everyone they know and whats the chances It'll ever get back to you? lol.. Just relax your not alone.. Im with you there.. its hard.. Just need to open up! :D

Try to be nice to everyone. The people who are nice back might be great potential friends! Maybe someone will come to you! Just keep trying!
