Yeah!
Our cat had to be put down due to old age.
The vet surgery was only a very short walk from our house so I decided to take the route at the back of our house, well away from the front of the houses which is usually quite busy.
Well I has holding him in my arms and as I was walking I was sobbing and crying. I 'bumped' into three people that I knew!! Of course they all wanted to know what was the matter. I was so distraught I couldn't answer.
Then, when the awful deed was over, I again walked back down the alley at the back of our house, still sobbing, only to be met by a kid I didn't know who said to me "You had a cat before, where's it gone?".
This made be sob even more and when I got home my kids could see how upset I was and this sent them all off crying!! My poor hubby had us all to contend with. None of us stopped until we went to bed, and two of the kids were still sobbing in their sleep!
Phew! What a day that was!!

Yes, not long after my grandfather was buried I went to the grocery store. The elderly man in line ahead of me was wearing over-alls like my Papa wore on his farm. He looked a bit like him, too. I couldn't stop the tears, but it was good. I was afraid to cry when he died, afraid I wouldn't be able to stop. I held it all in until that moment and the tears needed to come.

I cried in the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, but that's because I have a phobia of cathedrals and large structures

I cried in the auditorium when I was in 4th grade. My cat had run away and something about the presentation reminded me of it.

Not recently, but apparently I used to scream the place down when my mum took me to have my feet measured when I was a child.

Yes, it was a few months after we had to put our dog to sleep, I saw a dog that looked just like ours. My husband thought I was a nut case till he found out why I was crying.
