the cost . . . what other people think . . . makes your clothes, hair and house smell . . . it's Lent . . . makes your teeth and fingers yellow, gives you smoker's wrinkles, bad skin, dry hair . . . in many workplaces have to sneak outside without your coat to have one . . . .

Money for one. Try putting the same amount aside everytime you buy your tobacco product and see how much you have at the end of just one month. Multiply that by 12 and then by the number of years you think you have left to live and see how much a life time of smoking will cost you. Another is the environment. Try walking a street or road sometime while trying to count the cigarette butts. I walk a lot and the litter from the butts is horrible.

1. Caring about the effect on others - like your kids or other loved ones. What are you doing to their health? What will they have to go through watching you suffer a horrible, lingering death? 2. You reek all the time and kissing you is like licking out a dirty ashtray.

where i'm from, a pack of 25 sticks cost between $14.00-$15.00, depends on which store you buy from, should've helped me quit but nope, bad addiction. another is the smell and people how smoke but never have smokes, the bummers. (in Iqaluit)

Other people smell it on you, your clothing, hair, property, anything......and also u wrinkle and have bad skin after awhile!
