Is it legal for a company to establish mandatory bathroom breaks? Meaning employees are only allowed to use the bathrooms at certain times (i.e. 1 hour in the morning, 1 hour in the afternoon) and will not be permitted to use the bathrooms outside those established times?

Not only is that wrong, I think it's illegal.

Sounds ludicrous to me.
Assuming the employee is not abusing the privilege, I can not imagine using the bathroom as a punishable offense.

no they own the company. but you can beat this. get a doctor to write you a note .that you should be able to go the restroom when you have to. but don't abuse this. good luck

I don't think that is legal. Check with your local BBB and OSHA for regulations to this in your area.
