I think you'll be allright. Check out this link for some good info about flying while pregnant:
http://www.pregnancy-info.net/wellbeing_flying.html
Here's a piece of info from that link:
"There are some restrictions as to just who should and should not travel the skies when they are pregnant. Generally, women who are having a healthy, normal pregnancy are free to come and go as they please. However, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommends women don’t fly after their 36th week of pregnancy."
It also says "Rest assured that flying while you are pregnant is almost always completely safe, so there’s no need to change your travel plans."

1st of all - congrats! both on the baby as well as the Hawaii vacation! I went to Hawaii for my honeymoon and it was BEAUTIFUL!! and I'm also about 29 weeks with my first baby...
2nd - if you want to upgrade, depending on the airline, instead of upgrading to first, what about business, if that's an option? I had to go to India recently and we flew World Traveler Plus on British Airways which was pretty decent (It's not even business - it's just one step up from economy...sort of like "premium economy"). So it doesn't have to be first, just a little higher than economy...
3rd - in terms of whether you're uncomfortable or not...how are you feeling now? I've started to get a bit of back pain, particularly when I sit in chairs without proper support, and I had to take a trip from Newark to Chicago this week - in economy. And even that 2 hour flight was really uncomfortable, but it was a 2 hour flight so I managed okay. HOWEVER....
4th - if your doctor says it's okay, and you've been feeling good, then I think you should be fine. Drink LOTS of water, go to the bathroom as often as needed, take every opportunity you can to stretch your legs. Eat well, avoid caffeine, carbonated drinks, and alchohol (stick to fruit juices or water). Those tips will help you have a much more relaxed and enjoyable flight.
Enjoy your trip!

I just wanted to say I know how you feel. I am flying to Hawaii also. I will be 30 weeks. I am a little worried that I will be uncomfortable, but hopefully when I get there it will be worth it. We are flying from Ohio to Dallas and then Dallas to Honolulu (that will be the rough part) and then to our final destination which is Kauai. Good luck and enjoy yourself.

Two suggestions...
Upgrades aren't prohibitively expensive. Perhaps if you share your concerns with your parents they can help you out.
Also, you might be able to switch with someone in the exit row, even if they won't assign you there.
Good luck and enjoy yourself!

Be sure to do a little exercises with your legs to prevent blood clots and also elevate them to prevent edema.
