Anyone own an iPaq handheld?

I am trying to perform a hard reset on my iPaq 2795, but no matter how often I try, it only performs a soft reset. I am pushing down the calendar and launch buttons at the same time and pushing the reset button on the bottom. I let go of the calendar and launcher buttons first, then I let go of the reset button, but the device will not perform a hard reset. Any ideas?

Try letting go of the reset button first and hold the 2 buttons down until a screen appears, then let go.
