Since your joints and ligaments get looser during pregnancy it is possible that the motions used in bowling in combination with the weight of the ball would put a strain on your back and other ligaments. But it's probably pretty safe.

Bowling should be fine. It's true that your joints and ligaments relax during pregnancy, but how much they relax varies from woman to woman. Most expectant mothers don't experience that relaxation to the extent that they'd injure themselves while bowling. I do have one caution, though: Once you hit your third trimester, take care to lift your bowling ball in a way that won't strain your back muscles. That means making sure to bend at your knees and to keep your back straight

Yes, unless your Dr has said something against it.. I bowled way up in my pregnancy and had a friend who went bowling the day before she went into labor.. but like it was said earlier be very careful about the lanes. It would be wise to choose a light ball as well..

You can go bowling while pregnant in the early stages im not thinking it would be a smart thing to do if your huge and like 7 mos but yeah if you like 2-5 mos and you feel up to it with no major complications i don't see why not?!

I would think that it would depend on how active you have been during your pregnancy. When I went bowling at nine months, I had to bowl standing up and with no bending, I also used a kiddie ball that weighed 5 lbs. Be careful about tripping and falling!

Yes, bowling is perfectly fine to do when pregnant. I am 12 weeks and I actually asked my doctor about bowling already. She encouraged it because it is good exercise and not too strenuous.

I would ask your doctor my best friend was told its ok up to a certain point as long as she was careful but she ended up breaking her pelvic bone which didn't make for pleasant pregnancy so ask your doctor and wiegh the risks your wanna take theres lots of things you can still do that wont put you at risk to snap or break a bone.

Yes, just be careful. If your barely pregnant, no worries, if your pretty far along, just don't use a heavy ball and don't bend over a lot

Yes! Just be careful on those slippery lanes, since your balance is different, it may be easier to fall hard. Other than that, there's no reason not to go out and have fun.
