Plummer wasn't a bust while he was playing for denver... unless you call a 40-18 record a bust. In the AFC championship game last season the 3 of his 4 turnovers occurred when the broncos were already down big and he was just trying to salvage the game. Remember he also set the record for passing yards and tied the TD record for passes in Denver. He tied with John Elway, I'm not trying to compare him to elway buy the stats are there. Also when he was benchd in favor of Cutler he was 7-2 for the season. That doesn't seem like a bust or a loser to me.

Are you a whiny Tampa fan? Seriously why would Tampa want him? Are they admitting that "franchise" QB Simms ISN'T something to base the Franchise on? Heck I'd rather have Garcia to teach my QB then Plummer if it was about having a vetern QB to lead. Plummer was never that great. He had a great year in 2005-2006. Well right up until he ran into the Steelers in the AFC Championship game. It was bound to happen where he had a good season. Too bad for him that it ended when it did. Too bad for him that it was a fluke.

I don't think he's a bust by any means. He did a good job, in my opinion. It's just too bad that he had to retire (though he technically hasn't since he has not filed paperwork with the NFL yet).

I would just trade him while i can and get better players off of him. Jay Cutler is a great QB and will soon be very well known.

He is a good Quarterback till you need him most. Then he seems to crack under the pressure.
