Don't listen to everyone else. The Packers have a very good shot at making the playoffs in the weak NFC. They finished 8-8 and so did the New York Giants. This shows that the Packers are a serious contender this year for the NFC wild card. As for the Super Bowl, I don't think the chances are very high. But, that is what they said about the Patriots in 2001!!! Greg Jennings and Donald Driver will play a big role in 2007-2008 along with the running game.

Bears fan and that i see it as: a million. Chicago Bears- they could have had a nasty year yet they are going to bounce again and clinch the NFC North once again. I see the Bears as a 13-3 or 12-4 team, getting the first or second seed. 2. Minnesota Vikings- have not been contained in the Playoffs in a lengthy time period, and in the journey that they get a reliable QB, they can develop right into a Playoff contender again. I see them as a 11-5 or 12-4 team, getting the third seed and getting a threat to win a marvelous Bowl. 3. eco-friendly Bay Packers- Brett Favre or no longer, Aaron Rodgers could develop right into a good QB for the Packers, after he receives the rust off from being a backup for see you later. I see the Packers as a ten-6 team getting the fifth or sixth seed. 4. Detroit Lions- they have a reliable offense, and they have an ok protection, yet I see them as an 8-8 or 9-7 team, which could't make the Playoffs.

Realistic odds from a HUGE Favre and Packer fan
Playoffs 5 to 3
Superbowl 9 to 1
They're chance to get to the playoffs I believe is great. It doesn't appear yet that any of the NFC teams really improved so far this offseason, and the Packers were soooo close to win that wild card spot. One of those close loses could have easily been that last win they needed.
To GET to the superbowl their chances aren't horrible, but to WIN I would say they would be. There are 4-6 AFC teams that are easily better than the Pack but maybe only 2-3 teams in the NFC. They can do it.

I think they have a chance of making the playoffs but making it to the Superbowl is expecting too much oput of the youngest team in the NFL. By the way the Pack beat the The ViQueens in both games last season. LOL

These idiots know jack about football. Is favre as good as he was 4 years ago? no. Is he better than 75% of the nfc qb's? yes. The o line is intact. the defence improved down the stretch. This is a playoff team right now. Superbowl? no way in hell. If they get Moss, and he doesnt act like a turd and performs to his ability, with the rest of that recieving corps.....nfc champ contenders.

It will hurt the Packers more than help them. They should have started the rebuilding process, but old man Favre can't step away. No Chance.

Making the playoffs and superbowl aren't only on Favre's shoulders. It depends on what other players are on the team.

the packers have a decent chance i think alot of ppl fail to realize just how weak the nfc is right now. plus favre maybe old but hes got such a talented young cast of players around anythings possible he still has the instincts and abilities to be a hell of a qb and to anyone who says favre is washed up would u rather jeff garcia was your qb lol the pack has a chance just like every other medicore team in the nfc from last year st lious, san fran, green bay, atlanta , carolina so who knows

brett Farve is the reason they won't win. He is to reckless with the football. as a vikings fan I'm happy to see him stay it'll be our only two wins next year. He needs to move on, until that happens the rest of the team won't grow.
