I do see your delema!

When baby gets thursty enough, she will drink from a cup! My daughter was also breastfed, never did take a bottle, We bought her nuby cups, I will enclose a link ((I got them for less than $1 at walmart)). This is the only cup she would take. May I suggest that you start with juice, not milk, from the cup. She is thinking milk comes from the breast, not from the cup, and an easier transition would be from juice to milk than straight to milk.

Another way would be from an adult cup. Would be more work for your day care provider, but something she may take.

When she gets thursty enough, she will drink! Is she eating at daycare?

My baby never took a bottle either. He just went from breast to sippy cup. When I would get to leave him at 6 months then he was fed cereal with breastmilk in it. Also you could give her baby jars of fruit and vegies. A syringe of milk could also be used. Just like when you give her medicine use it for breastmilk or formula.
That is my only solution, mine didn't use a sippy cup or regular cup till after he was one. He didn't drink unless it was from me and I was fortunate enough not to have to work.
good Luck.
One more thing I took Fenugreek a herbal supplement with all my kids to help boost my milk supply. Try that too.

Can you have someone bring her to you on your lunch break to nurse? If not, I suggest you let her sleep with you so she can nurse at night as needed. Its called "reverse cycling" and is nature's way of insuring an adequate supply of real human milk for you baby.

I went back to work when my daughter was 7 months old too. She ate a little solid food, but would only drink water while i was gone.

your daughter is probably upset that you are not around, that is normal. but at that age a baby doest have the ability to have a stand off with you over the issue. her body will tell her that she needs to eat and she will. at her age it is all about survival that is her first instict. if you are really worried call your doctor.

will she eat oatmeal or puree food. maybe u can mix some breastmilk or formula in with puree food. that must really be nerve racking to be at work and know your baby is hungry.
