Because they only understand violence.
And by the way, you forgot: it's not okay to immunize young girls against HPV, because that would prevent them from getting an STD, which would encourage them to have sex, which would encourage them to act upon natural human feelings, which would encourage them to understand something under than violence.
So you see, it all makes sense.

They don't all think that. And maybe the reason you are getting "mixed messages," is that you are trying to hard to pigeon-hole an entire population of people, based on your own negative stereotypes.
I am unwilling to help you with your stereotyping. If you want to know why I do something or not, try asking in a way that invites an honest answer.
You are also confusing your stereotypes. The message from James Dobson has been so twisted. Aside from that, not all Conservatives support James Dobson. I'll bet many do not know any more about him than you do.

You have all of your mixed messages wrong. I don't believe in slapping or hitting.....I do believe in SPANKING. There is a big difference. I would rather have a child with hurt feelings from a spanking than a child who has been run over by a car.
Believe it or not, people actually join the Army to serve their country. Sometimes it has nothing to do with money. If you are referring to the Bush twins not going to war, then that is just ignorant. No parent can force their children to join the military. Having our President's daughters on the front line is a huge threat to national security.
No one is getting killed "for no reason". This is a war! Our brave soldiers are fighting ever day for freedom.
You are talking out of your @ss. What gives?

See its not quite like that. Its about personal responsibility and leaving major decisions up to individuals and families.
Abortion is more about people needing to be more responsible in their decisions and actions. Of course we dont want alot of unwanted children around, we want people to protect themselves from pregnancy.
We want parents to decide what is in the best interest of their families. Having the government force meds/vaccines on a person is questionable, especially since this vaccine has not been out that long, we really don't know what effects it might bring.
and for the war thing, our military is voluntary, anyone joining the military needs to go into it knowing they might one day be sent out to fight. It has nothing to do with money since it is completely voluntary.

Absolutely not true, I am a conservative as are my parents and their parents and there has never been even one smack. A little spanking when young if you do something terrible but other than that no. Actually a lot of mexican families and black families like hitting their kids especially poorer ones, and you knwo they always vote democrat beause they want more welfare for doing nothing.

Discipline is love, abortion is not discipline - it is laziness, I would prefer to go to war to fight for the lives and freedom of my children.
