Economic growth has affected almost all societies or all segments of the society. There is definite improvement in the earning as well as purchasing power of almost every segment of society and age group in our nation. However the chasm between the rich and poor has widened because the rich and filthy rich have gained more. This is natural. With time the front runner is expected to improve his lead.

Lovely Question dear... The Government which ruled the country for more that 59 years has always made policies on the basis of caste, religion etc. forgetting that the economically backword people are there in all the casts and religion. As a result even today there are rich and richest people in all casts and religion who do not bother to bring up the poor in their own society . I have seen Scheduled casts and Tribes getting good opportunity and husband and wife both getting good employment but are not worried about poor among their own lot. whereas the Govt. itself extends all benefits to even rich in the respective class such as Minorities, Scheduled casts and Scheduled tribes.
Instead if the sensible govt. concentrate on the poor people irrespective of their caste and religion ...by this time this country would have been different and all our brothern of all communities
could have reached a level of equality... Alas! even today the power politics is after pleasing the vote banks but not the poor.
High time this Govt. change its attitude or the people to change such Governments.

As india is an developing country,the economical structure is pretty less,so it is not possible to help all the societies of our nation.But still the indian government is looking for the betterment of each society equally.

Money before it reaches the hands of public is eaten by all the corrupted politicians. That's the reason although we have enough financial support still our roads r not good, no proper water supply, no power. Everything is corrupted.
I've noticed something good happening in the southern part of India near coimbatore, where the road contract is given to L&T. Since it is a private sector they r doing it sincerely coz it values their reputation.
So I guess some things must be offered to the private sectors to be taken care of.
