Take a deep breath and stop panicking. The fact that the blood was dark indicates that it was old blood and not new.

I had bleeding all throughout my pregnancy after having two misscarriages. It was terrifying. I know what you're going through. I know how scary it is.

Take comfort in the fact that the blood was brown, like I said, brown blood indicates that it's old...if it was bright red, you'd have more cause for concern.

I pray for you! I have experienced a miscarriage before and I know it's not easy. I really wish you the best of luck. Just try to remain calm so that no extra stress has an effect on anything! I know its hard but think about the baby! Hopefully it'll help keep you calm! And Im sorry if you have to go through this again! May God be with you!

Try not to be scared. I suggest REST.

When I was young I did stupid things, like I had to work so I did a paper route, and put the mags on my belly. Well I lost that little boy at 30 weeks.

Next pregnancy, I was vacuuming, had braxton hicks contractions that turned into real labor pains. That premie at 30 weeks lived.

Treat yourself to allot of rest and spoil yourself resting and eating good. Your baby may depend on it. The housework can wait.

Now I have 4 living children 32-20. The last two I did allot of bedrest, and they were full term.

I also had 6 miscarraiges, about 4 weeks each, which the learning channel showed that there is usually something wrong/deformed with the sperm, like 2 tails or something.

best wishes, tina

Stay off your feet as much as possible until your doctor appointment. Sometimes women will "spot" for the first few months of pregnancy during the time they would have got their normal period. This very well may be your case. If your not cramping, and thats all the blood you've seen - then this is quite possibly what is happening. Just rest and try your best to think positive!

Take the test as soon as you are able (I might even go to the ER if doc can't get you in today) in the meantime, lay down and try to relax. Try some deep breathing, and some quiet music. Try to focus on something pleasant. Stress can be a big contributing factor to miscarriages and other health problems. Slow down, and get to a doctor.

Sounds to me like normal spotting if its brown its pretty safe bet its just your body relieving itself of left overs usually around when you might get your period sounds like so far your doctors visits have indicated all good signs its hard I have never had a miscarriage but i have close friends who have and its scary and difficult to deal with I feel for you and am praying for you but I believe its just normal stuff that goes on during pregnancy sounds like your doctors taking good care of you too so just relax and keep your feet up as much as possible until your next visit. God Bless.

I am so sorry that you had to deal with that miscarriage. I know that some women experience a brownish discharge in early pregnancy..maybe that is what you are experiencing? I hope so. I know it's hard not to worry...but don't stress too much because that can affect your baby. Just get to your doctor and see what he or she says. Good luck and I hope and pray everything is alright.
