Hm. As a biology teacher, I would pause before naming a child the prefix for 1/1000 (not 1/1 million) in scientific language. Milliliter, millimeter, milligram are sure to follow. It does sound like a good nickname, though.

I like the name Michaela but the meaning behind Milli is adorable. Its good to give a baby a name that gives them confidence and one in a million says alot about ya'lls love for her.So I say go with Milli or AMillion.

I would name her Michaela and call her Milli for a nick name. Michaela would sound better as an adult than Milli would in my opinion. Just think about her future. Would you take a second look at a resume if it said Milli?

I agree that Milli Michaela is very nice. Why not use both of your suggestions. You can argue that Milli will be easier for your daughter to write when she starts school ~grin~

Milli Michaela is good name too. I think the most important about name is the meaning and how it can affect her personality after she get mature.

Love both of them but milli almost sound's like an adorable little puppy..I understand the connection to one in a million though. Is it possible to one as a first name and the other as the middle name.

I love the name milli, it is unusual for today and michaela has become a quite common name. Both my children have unusual names and they are in K and 2nd grade and have not had any problems.

your reasoning for choosing Milli is very sweet but I like Micheala better. Although I think there are alot better names out there than Micheala so why dont the two of you just find a different name that you both agree on?

I know a little girl who's name is Millie (her spelling) and it is so cute to say and I think it is orignal. Plus the problem with micheala is its harder to pronounce when school starts and spell. Make is easier on everyone and go foir Milli
