depends on where you are. I hear in Cali all the dollar stores actually sell things for a dollar!!! Don't come to Boston. The Dollar stores sell stuff for a dollar twenty nine and up!! lol. It's false advertising I tell you!

Candy, if you go to the right store.
You can't even buy a bottle of water for under a dollar, unless you get the tiny ones that are four sips, and in some places, you even have to pay a dollar for those!

Dollar Spot in Target is surprisingly nice. You have to look, though. I scored some hoop earrings and a diamante ring, some plates for my kitchen...it's fabulous!!
