What does she need? Spend some time with her and listen to what she says. Maybe she's spent six months looking for the perfect plantstand to get her favorite plant off the kitchen counter. Just listen, and you'll hear what she wants or needs.

if she is only a friend then get her a gift card for dinner at a nice restaurant, and maybe a CD or a DVD, that way she got a nice meal and didn't have to cook plus you personalized it to where years later she will listen to her CD or watch her DVD and remember that her sweet friend(YOU) gave it to her!!!
