Where do I find bears at for Oblivion on 360?

Here's the thing, I need to get 20 bear pelts for a mission and I dont know where to look for them. I walked from Chorrell to Skinrag but I found nothing but wolves, rats, and imps. Is there a specific area I should look in to find bears??

Trying to get your master training in destruction?

Go to various stores and buy them. It's what I did. Some places have 5 or so. Blacksmiths and esp. some of the stores in Bruma. You can probably find 10 in the stores of the Imperial market district alone.

BTW: save as many imp galls as you can while they're still common. As you level they will be replaced with toughter creatures. Imp Galls and/or ectoplasm are required in almost every one of the tri-element poisons that stack up some serious damage when you get a high enough alchemy and the equipment to go with it (Master Mortar & Pestle, Master Calcinator, Novice Alembic for every poison I make)

I was told they're west of the settlement but haven't checked.
