I like Lilly just as it is... I don't think you need a formal name.

Lily is a perfectly acceptable formal name. It's not like Judy or Terry which are derivatives of Judity and Terrance. Lily is a name all on it's own, not a nickname. I say if you wish to name your daughter Lily, you should simply do that. After all, why do you need to guild the lilly?

I like Lilly - it's a pretty name without being too cutesy. Personally, I don't care for Lillian but Lilliana is a lovely name.

Why don't just keep it like Lilly? It's a nice name, even for formal.

I think Lilliana (lily-ah-nah) is beautiful, but I also like Lily with a longer middle name. Or if you want something a little more different, you could make something up, like I did for my daughter (Kitalya (kit-all-yuh), we call her "Kitty" for short)... just start messing around with the letters!

If you are planning on calling her Lily, just name her Lily. I never understand why parents name their kids one thing and call them something else.
My friend's sister named their baby Amy Brooke but they call her Brooke. Why not just name her Brooke?
