I came off the pill about a week ago to try to conceive. Lately I've been having more acne and really really sore breasts. They've never hurt this bad before. Also, I have dark blue veins everywhere.. I was wondering if coming off birth control gives you certain symptoms, as does pregnancy. How soon after conception did you notice your breasts being really sore?

I was on the pill for about 15 years. After stopping the pill, I definitely had signs of pregnancy my first month which included really sore and tender breasts, on and off nausea, on and off mild cramping, tiredness and I experienced a little spotting. These symptoms lasted until my period began again (almost 2 weeks straight). It was very confusing to me. It definitely was a hormonal imbalance. Just give your body a little time to adjust. After two months my body felt pretty normal and worked like clockwork. After discussing my symptoms with my friends, they all said sore breasts were the first thing they experience (some as early as 2 weeks). That's why many of them thought I was pregnant.

When I came off the pill I broke out and had really sore breasts (My cycle was messed up and I started my period-that's the reason for soreness). As for the veins I don't know. I'd give it some time and then if these symptoms don't go away take a pregnancy test. If it's negative take another one in three days and if it's still negative go see your doctor.

Sounds like you have a hormonal imbalance from coming off the birth control.
Good luck

It sounds like your hormones are out of whack. This happened to me the first few months after I came off of BC. It will get back to normal once your hormones become level again.
