in california the minimum wage went up to 7.25 but even if the U.S minimium wage goes up it will still not be a affordable living wage

Minimum wage needs to be dropped as a national issue. Who cares how much a teenager makes at a pizza shop?
Opportunities for a middle class jobs for adults WILLING to work is the real issue.

The minimum wage workers are the working class!
They clean toilets and prepare meals for preppies like you and clean it up afterward, in short they do all the dirty work you wouldn't do even if it paid $100.00 per hour!
