Highly DISAGREE, with abortion! In a sense, it is murder. I cannot stand mothers that kill the baby that they took a part in making. I know that there are a handful of women that are probably raped or the like, that didn't want a kid but you should have the baby and at the very least give it up for adoption so he/she can be with a family that will love them.

I think that it's ulimately the mother's choice, but honestly I don't think that abortions were made for people who have no where else to turn. Rape victims, people who were trying their hardest not to get pregnant and got pregnant anyway (people trying to prevent passing on some genetic mutation or something), homeless people who couldn't provide for a baby and who also couldn't give the baby up for adoption because they wouldn't have the right kind of nutrition during the pregnancy.

The only thing that I'm against with abortion, is people using it as birth control. Everyone knows what can happen when you have unprotected sex, and if you do it anyway, get pregnant and have an abortion, that's just cruel and selfish. USE A CONDOM, go on the pill, take the shot... there are SO many forms of birth control and no one seems to take it seriously. If a girl is on the pill, you can still have sex without a condom if you wanted to, and it doesn't feel any different than it would if she wasn't on the pill, so it just doesn't make sense to me!

If you can't deal with the consequences, don't take the action!

When I was younger I used to think that if I ever got pregnant young I would never be able to have the baby.. but when it finally came to it (I'm 18 and pregnant) there was no way I could've gone through an abortion. Everyone's view on this is so different and I don't think anyone really realizes the reality and the impact of it until they are put in the middle of making that decision. I'm neither against abortion or for it, I feel it's a personal decision, if you feel that it's ok to take away a little life, then so be it. No one but yourself can honestly make that moral decision.

Personally I don't like them because killing a innocent child is wrong, but it is up to the person involved. I think that if you are old enough to have sex then you know the consequence's for your actions and if you not going to be responsible and use protection then you shouldn't be able to kill a innocent baby because you made a mistake. after 18 days of conception the heart begins to beat and anyone or thing that has a heart beat is alive.

Although rape victims didn't have the choice of being protected but i still think that they could give the baby up for adoption there are alot of people that would love to have kids and cant. We are not God so we shouldn't be able to decide if a baby gets to live or die! So no i do not approve in abortions!

Depends on the situation.

It should not, however, be used as a method of birth control.

In a situation where it's medically necessary, or the pregnancy was a result of a violent crime, it's acceptable.

If it's because the couple was not bright enough to use birth control, it shouldn't even be legal. There's no shortage of sexual education in the US, nowadays. It's no mystery as to what will happen if you have unprotected sex on a regular basis. As a matter of fact, if pregnant is ALL you get, you're lucky.

Just my opinion, though.

i disagree....People know how to make a baby. If you don't want a child, you can prevent it. The ONLY way that I agree with it is if there is a abnormality with the baby that the child would have to suffer with for the rest of their lives. Other than that, give the baby up for adoption. A lot of people cannot have their own!

Why do people keep asking this question on here? Is it just to get a rise out of people? Do a search of the same question and you'll find out what people have to say about abortions.

Its definitly an old question with still so many contraversies...personally I believe in abortion if....rape,molestation,incest and severe cases like that...however...i'm a firm believer that a child should be given up for adoption if none of the above happened and the mother does not want the child.

It depends on the circumstances. I agree if it is a baby that couldn't live and enjoy his/her life for being sick or seriously abnormal, or conceived by rape... otherwise the parents should consider adoption or do their best to give him a worthy life.

disagree. i wrote a paper on abortions. ask yourself this question, why get pregnant and give up the baby? that defeats the purpose of getting pregnant. i agree with abortions if they are due to potential health problems of the baby or if it was rape or something.
