A couple of times I tried when I was about 8 years old. My great grandparents owned a dairy farm in Wisconsin and he tried to show me how. Never did get any milk to come out though

Yes, I worked on a dairy as a teenager. You had to be very careful how you handled the cow putting on the milker or she would kick you

You could be my husband asking that question...poor guy. Find a relief milker. I assume you do it because you enjoy it, just don't burn yourself out. I'm lucky that I get to love and enjoy my pet cows, when I milk, it's still for fun.

I am a city person.My uncle brought a cow to a family reunion and we kids milked her, that was GREAT!! I loved it.

Yep. I milked a cow (once) on my uncle's farm in Brazil...It was ironic because I'm lactose intolerant...LOL...I drink rice milk...
