If you have been using your birth control the way you're supposed to, you shouldnt be worried since you also got your period. There are very slim chances for you to get pregnant by using your birth control the correct way (the probability of getting pregnant varies by form of birth control). If you're still worried, I suggest you go to your ob/gyn for clarification.

There's not a whole lot of sure things in pregnancy, so it is technically possible, but it's extremely unlikely.
The pill is really very effective, as long as you take it as recommended, and as long as you check to make sure any medication you take has no effect on it (antibiotics can lower its effectiveness).
Also, it's highly unusual (though not impossible) for a woman to have a period and still be pregnant.
However, for you to be pregnant, you'd have to fall into the miniscule catagory of women who get pregnant with the pill, and who have a period while pregnant.
While I'm not prepared to say it's completely impossible, it is virtually impossible.

Brittany-on BCP-had period 5 days- where does pregnancy fall into the equation? Baby-Doll I'm missing part of this somehwhere.Did you miss a pill? If you're having your period I would guess you're not pregnant! Is there something that's not showing up on my computer? Maybe I'm just slow and I'm not catching on here. I would say No!! Definitely not. But if there is something I am missing you better ask Mom and see Gynocologist.

If you are sexually active, there's always the possibility you can become pregnant, even when using birth control. If you're on a reliable form of b/c and you got your period, chances are pretty slim...however if you are seriously concerned about it then get tested, or stop having sex.
If you use a condom during sex, in addition to your other form of b/c, then I wouldn't see a reason to ever really worry about it at all.
