I hate it when it is put after every other word. Is what you're saying really that funny? No. If I find something funny and am actually laughing, I put a "hahaha" in there. Why abbreviate my laughter? Are you that lazy you can't put that in there? Let's start abbreviating everything we say so it doesn't take so long to type! GTMOMFDU"LOL!"

What really makes my skin crawl is when people use more than one punctuation mark, like an exclamation point or an exclamation point followed by a question mark.

its just a quick way to express you're finding something funny....I spose we could all just type out...."hahaha, thats so funny" every time we are amused by something put on our IMs or chat rooms or emails etc!.....hmmm? maybe not!
