you have to pass "x" in a side, it has to be alone, like this: x =
and put the numbers in the another side. If you pass a number for another side, you have to change its function. If it multiplicates, in another side it divides, it's summing, in the another it substracts
But, in this first case, 4 passes like negative number =
8 - 4 = x
4 = x, that is your answer
Second case, it's the same
10 - 6= x
4 = x
Third case, it's different, you have to pass the number 3 but it has to divide 12.
12/3 = x
14= 7 + x
14 - 7 = x
7 = x
16 = 8 + x
16 - 8 = x
8 = x
12 = 4 + x
12 - 4 = x
8 = x
20 = 10*x
20/10 = x
10 = x
6 = 3 + x
6 - 3 = x
3 = x
24 = 12 + x
24 - 12 = x
12 = x
15 = 10 + x
15 - 10 = x
5 = x

You need to Figure out what X is equal to. So if the problem was 4=2+x you take 4 and subtract 2 and that is 2 so x=2. If you are doing multiplication 10=5*x you dived 10 by 5 that equals 2 so x= 2 not apply the same formulas to your question above and that should help you find your answers.
Your teachers are there to help you if you are having a hard time with your work ask for help. They will help you. I know that you must work hard to be captain of the squad and that you have a great time being a cheerleader but you need to focus some on being a good student. Good luck!

Talk to your teacher...cheating is never the answer...here's a hint though, to get x...if the equation is 6+x=24 then subtract 6 (the opposite of the number) from both sides x=18...in mulitplying and dividing the rule is the same if 6*x=24 then divide both sides by 6 and you will find that x=4

first of all you need a tutor asap you can't do basic math or even spell.
8=4+x subtract four from each side and you get x=2
12=6+x subtract 6 form each side and you get x=6
14=7+x subtract 7 from each side and you get x=7
16=8+x subtract 8 from each side and you get x=8
12=4+x subtract 4 from each side and you get x=8
20=10 times x divide each side by 10 and you get x=2
6=3+x subtract 3 from each side and you get x=3
24=12+x subtract 12 from each side and you get x=12
15=10+x subtract 10 from each side and you get x=5
Will someone help me cheat, I don't know how to do my math homework. misspelling isn't cute it makes you seem like an idiot.
My teacher said it would be review (no like) but i think it is really hard!

okay you take 8 = 4 + x
what you do to one side you have to do the other so you subtract four from each side
so you get 8 - 4 = 4 + x - 4
sooo the answer is 4 = x

Then learn how!! Cheating will get you nowhere, and you will STILL not understand for the quiz or test. Don't be a fool. Save your reputation and remain honest. Go to your teacher, admit you do not understand, and get the help you need.
Chow!!

8=4 plus 4
10=6 plus 4
12=3 times 4, you multiply when number and letter are close together.
14= 7 plus 7
16=8 plus 8
12= 4 plus 8
20= 10 times 10
6= 3 plus 3
24 =12 plus12
15 = 10 plus 5
the x is refering to the other number to get total on left of equal sign

Sweetie, if you are in high school and you cannot do these problems, then I really think you should get a tutor. But hey, congrats on being captain of your squad! That's impressive, now you just have to work on your school! :)
