hi guys, We all know that nextel and sprint has joined togther, but I want to know why is it that you can't activate a sprint phone to nextel? cingullar lets you activate your at&t phone,any had this problem with nextel?

Nextel uses a different communications system than Sprint. Nextel uses the IDEN technology, Sprint uses standard cell technology. They are not compatable phones.
