Absolutely! In fact, I think the payment should be higher if they violate you more than once a day.
1 Violation: Dinner
2 Violations: $75 Gift Card to Home Depot or something
3 Violations: HDTV

They could at least look at the answer/question to see if it warrants a violation. I have been violated for some of the stupidest things.
