I dont think u can get rid of the smell, leather tends to smell when it comes into contact wid sweat.water etc can also be caused by the moisture between ur skin & the watch. No matter how many times u change the strap, eventually it wud smell.Perhaps best u change into a metal strap watch instead? Also, dun bath wid ur watch!

I dont know but thats really funny cause i thought my mom was the only one who thought her watch strap smelled bad, I smelled it and it smelled like leather, nothing gross...but now she has just gotten used to it because she knows where the smell is coming from now.........................she thought that she had something foul in her nose cause everytime she scratched her nose she would smell it, but it was just the new watch band, she just wasnt used to the smell yet. Maybe just give it time and the smell might go away,

Try making a paste from baking soda and water.apply it to the inside part of the band.Let dry over night.remove paste from the band with a damp cloth.
It might work because baking soda is good on odors.

Go you your local feed store or leather shop. There is a leather cleaner out there that won't harm the color or integrity of the leather. Forgive me for not knowing the name. I used to use it on my saddles growing up to keep them from smelling like horses.

Leave it in a bag of cedar chips for a week. Then stop buying cheap watches.

try wiping it with vinigar.
or get a new one and take it off at night that's when your body sheds a lot of dead/dry skin and it stinks after time when mixed with sweat.

Nail remover always works. But I think that it would destroy your watch. You can try to spray some perfume on it. Perhaps it'll work...
