The Western Left while they deride our freedoms, they are cock sure of inalienable principle of Equality between the sexes. While the left derides those who would like to spread democratic principles to other countries as imperialism. They think nothing of shoving down the throats of tribesmen the fact that their women should have equal everything in their society.
There is a Hispanic saying that says "Between Husband and wife no one should interfere". I tell you our feminism is first class in your face interference. IE. womans right to control her body= abortion on demand v.s. Muslim anti abortion stand, woman's right to wear anything she pleases v.s. Muslim's extremely prudish attire. Only those 2 examples is enough to drive some people mad.
Remember "love" makes the world turn.

No but throwing divorced men who pay alimony to their ex while she gets banged by some other guy in the face of the common muslim is sure a good tool of motivation for the muslims who want to rally cannonfooder for their holy war.

Yep, western feminism has got to be the reason some muslims are angry and are blowing themselves up. Agreed, some of the customs of the west may not be what some muslims like, but frankly, some of the customs of some muslims may not be what some westerners like either. So if we use your "logic", then the way muslim women are treated is the reason the west is at war with some of the muslim countries. Prudish attire and anti-choice beliefs may be driving us mad, too.

Using more of your logic, I'm sure western feminists are also the cause of hurricanes, floods, locusts, and famine. But using more of your logic, so are muslims.

No. Read your history. The animosity goes back WAAAAY longer than just the past 30 years...or even the past 150. Try the middle ages...ever hear of the crusades? And more recently, it is the West's Imperialism, and then our involvement in "their" affairs such as our support of Israel and our role in Afghanistan during the Soviet invasion, that has fueled that animosity. Yes, there is also cultural disdain, such as our treatment of women, but, even more so, our capitalistic and democratic government (the World Trade Center was attacked on 9/11, not the NOW Headquarters). Anyway, this information is all available to you if you are really interested in what caused things to be as they currently are. There are several authoritative books on the subject, and any history book will also give you more insight into this.

No, it's just another contributing factor. The MAIN factor behind any kind of conflict is usually economic although you might have to look closely. Nobody's going to get up in arms just because feminism exists in a country; you're certainly not going to care about societal values if you want to trade with a particular country or group. Tie that in to perceived oppression, the loss of once glorious Islamic empires, the strong opinions and identity of the Arabic people in general, and a few other factors, and you have a growing body of distrust and anger.

What is your question? I'm a Muslim and I don't agree with feminists at all. Men and women are equal in Islam. Muslim women and men have more modesty than any western women. We dress modestly to protect ourselves from being raped or killed. No one has the right to take a life away except God. We can get an abortion if it will cost the mother her life. Other than that there is no reason to kill our unborn children. Yes we know that abortion is murder and it is to be avoided at all costs. Also most Muslim women are married so they have no need to get an abortion anyway because they and their children will be provided for by their husband or in the event of their husband's death by their father or eldest son. As for dressing in the Abaya, hijab, and niqab we do that because we don't want to get raped on the street and we value our modesty and beauty so much that it should only be revealed to our husband's and fathers and other mahrams, I would rather be called names than displease ALLAH and my husband by walking around like an uncooked slab of meat lusted after by hungry wild dogs and get raped, robbed, kidnapped, or even killed on the streets by strange men who don't deserve to see my beauty.

Ummm...how far does THAT go in explaining that in Iraq Sunni's are killing Shite Muslims, and vice-versa. Yes that's right: it doesn't. So much for your rant.
