Whew. That's a loaded question. If you use the idea and it makes you rich, do we get some of the royalties? I can say, as a writer myself who has run short on ideas from time to time that the ideas other people give me are usually not workable for me. It would be nice to think you could write about absolutely anything, but if you aren't "feeling" the story it will be difficult to write- and for others to read. My suggestion for writers block? Start writing. Sit down and start spewing out whatever bubbles to the top. Eventually, that should lead you to an idea you've had all along, just waiting to come out.

I'm sorry but I don't think your book will turn out terribly good if you force your writing or if you take your ideas from keywords people give you. You need to write about something that catches your fancy, something you know about, something you're familiar with and passionate about.
Write for writing's sake.
Write short stories first. Once you've mastered that, then work on something longer. It takes skill to write a short story- to have a plot and character development etc., over a shorter length then in a book. Thus it gives great practice for writing a novel.
What genre do you write in? crime, horror, comedy, romance?
What can you offer something new in that no one ever has before?
Think about these things first.

Well first and foremost write some short stories , send it to some local magazines , competitions and stuff . See what the reaction is and then write an entire book , you can go and check out my book on the site discoverabook.com , it is the fiction category , named a girl in distress . I have won many prizes as a writer that is why i wrote this book , it is my first long book , . one more think don't force yourself to write , write from the heart , whatever you feel like , read the newspaper , see movies may be you get inspired but dont emulate it completely that would be crime .

First off if you are unpublished, you are a writer. When you get published, you become an author. Semantics, I know, but some of us have worked hard for that author title.
Begin by keeping a journal and writing down ideas. Daydream a story. If the story holds your attention, start writing it.

If you need someone to tell you, then you should not write about anything. It's up to you as the author to tell YOUR story, not reguritate ideas you get from other people at Yahoo Answers!
If you need inspiration, grab a book off of your bookshelf and read. Reading is the best inspiration for a writer.

Write something you'd like to read. Surely you have favorite books.
You can't ask others for ideas on what to write. True writers come up with their own stories.

Either on your laptop or on a Big Chief tablet (like John-Boy Walton did). Good luck on it!

Please... Not another chick novel. It is beginning to hurt!
Write something intelligent and I suggest you start by reading something good and classic!

What you know about. If that well is a little dry; well, maybe you're being a little overly ambitious.
