on my computer what is a gb and is one of them enough memory for my notebook or do i need more please explain

gb = 1024 mb
mb = 1024 kb
kb = 1024 bytes

A gig of ram is a plenty for an average use computer these days, especially a laptop. Unless your gaming or running really intensive software you shouldn't need more for awhile.

An MB is halfway between a KB and a GB. You should at least have 15 GB on a laptop running Windows.

1-2 GB is standard amounts of RAM these days.

1 gb = 1024 mb
1 mb = 1024 kb

1 gb is a pretty good ammount of ram, depending on what you are doing with your notebook.

Buddy, 1Mb is 1024 bytes n 1Gb is 1024Mega bytes. A 1 Gb RAM is Good for a laptop. but if u plan to work on Vista, go for 2Gigs

A byte is 8 bits which equals one computer character. One mb is a million bytes
