baby teeth?

my son is 7 months and he has 6 teeth one which came in yesterday...it looks like his gum is bruised is this normal?

My daughter has that right now. I took her to the doctor and they said it was a blood blister, from them rubbing and chewing on things while they're teething. They said it will pop on it's own in a week or so. More than likely they will swallow the blood, but some might come out of their mouth and not to freak out, because it'll look nasty because it's old blood.

He probably caused the bruise from digging at it. Unless it gets swollen/infected looking, I would not worry.
