You have to use the Itunes program, but you can go to file then add a folder to library, and choose the folder where your music is downloaded to.

Okay, what you need to do is to install iTunes because the iPod will only sync with that you should have installed iTunes before you plugged in your iPod, anyways under preferences in limewire you should see iTunes syncing or something along those lines, then click the check box that is in that area then every-time you download a song from limewire it will automatically be put in the playlist "limewire" then when you connect your iPod you can have it sync with iTunes and get all your songs on there then if you have previously downloaded songs look up the folder that holds your download files and right click all those files or ctrl click (on mac) and open with iTunes then in your iTunes library if you don't have more songs than what you've downloaded select all the songs and put them in your "limewire" playlist or if you want to make playlists by album or artist, then on the lower left-hand side of iTunes there is a plus sign (+) shift-click that (on Windows) or alt/option-click it (on Mac) then sync your iPod to your iTunes library and make sure it automatically updates your iPod to your Library

Hello,

I believe that due to the built-in security and copyright laws, you will be unable to download straight from limewire to your ipod. But, you can burn the music from limewire onto a blank CD, then upload this music from the CD into itunes in order to upload onto your ipod.

Sounds like a lot of steps, huh? Yeah, it is. LoL.

Itunes is the only way

I use limewire as well

after you have downloaded a song from limewire.....click on it at the bottom and click explore....a new window will pop up and

right click on the song you want and select open with Itunes

You HAVE to use Itunes, but you can use Limewire, too. Just download your songs from Limewire, then upload them to your itunes account, then put them on your ipod!
