Contrary to another answer here, a PhD is not neccessary.

It depends what area of Forensics you are going into. There is so many depts that I could not name them all.

DNA: Degree in Biology and/ or Genetics
Pathology: PhD in Medicine
Toxicology: Degree in Toxicology and/ or Chemistry


Best to consider what you want to do in Forensics, and then ask a new question to get the best advice.

Can only suggest contact the Police Department or the NHS website re employment opportunities if not listed there may be a contact web form that you could complete and ask if they could advise you re studying to become a Forensic Crime Analyst.
