You are to advertise a company, a product, a service, etc. If money wasn't a factor what sorts of extreme ideas would you do to advertise? I'm not talking about your typical forms of advertising like t.v and newspaper.

A wholesaler in my industry recently sent me some literature regarding their services along with a coffee mug inscribed with my name and some type of award for professional excellence. The package also included a seminar invitation, which I ignored.

Yesterday, I received two more packages from them. I opened one to find a toy rocket, a disposable diaper, and an MP3 player; along with more literature tying the three items into a sales pitch . The MP3 player had a message from the CEO of the company. I deleted it (and later loaded some songs). The second package was identical to the first, an apparent error; so I got two free MP3 players.

This whole thing got my attention. If I had had any need for this company's services, it probably would have been effective.

For men, send a very pretty, young woman round to their homes to talk about the product.
For women, send an old singer who used to be famous while they were young and fell in love with the artist.
For teens, pay one person is each particular clicke that is very cool to tell everyone that th product is amazing.
For children, change the packaging so that it is big, bright and shiny, a try here button also works.
For old people, advertise it in coaches (my grandma goes on a lot of coach trips), have it mentioned on bbc news or countdown (other things my grandma likes to do.

Hidden messages in music and other methods of brain control can work aswell.

You could cover a building with vinyl graphics, if it is a local ad. Money being no object, you could cover every building.

For the biggest idea of all, create the biggest structure visible from space, and sponsor it.

YouTube is very popular at the moment - see the K-fee ads for shock marketing.

Direct mail a very unusual, and preferably big, object. The biggest direct mail item we have heard of is a pickaxe.

Create a street party event, and have an open invite - invite celebrities - link it to a charity - invite the press.

1st of all i will make a grabbing site (doesn't necessary to be fancy) for the company and/or the product ,hire a graphic designer and web programmer to make it perfect .
then i will advertise my site in many advertising sites on line like Google ad words ,and i will optimize the site for multiple search engines like Google and yahoo and many more site ..
you could also make a video about your company and the product so i could send it to customers and then put it on sites like you tube.
make an opt in list so that i can send them emails about every updating on my site and my company ..

Remember this (where ever you want to advertise ,always advertise about the benefits that the customer needs and how your product or company will fill these needs ) ..

that's how you could advertise on line .

you can also advertise on magazines and every new advertising things you could advertise on it ... never say enough for advertising because the more you have advertising you have the more selling you will make BUT you always must calculate your expenses and profit's and the ROI (return on investment ) and other stuff .

Good luck .

Your question betrays a complete lack of advertising and how it works. I'm guessing this is for a class. It stinks like the kind of irrelevant question an academic wannabe would ask.

A pop-up ad in my favorite magazines would grab my attention. It would be costly, but you said money wasn't a factor.

let there be any age, humans are attracted by nothing more than themselves.
