Why?????!??!???!! Did he mean it when he said no? Does he still want to be my friend!

It's pretty obvious that he only wants to be your friend and doesn't want to dwell on the subject. Pretending that nothing happened MEANS he still wants to be your friend. Isn't it better to leave awkward situations behind? My advice, is that you should do the same. It's better to have him as a friend than not at all, right? Good Luck! :)

If he's acting like nothing happened. That probably means he wants things back to the way they are and doesn't want to spend his time dwelling in the past.

Yeah he meant it, otherwise he would have said yes. He's probably acting like nothing happened so that you won't be embarassed about it. I don't know if he wants to be your friend, I would have to know the guy to be able to tell you taht. Don't despair, there are plenty of fish in the sea.
