Use plastic applicator tampons (Kotex Security, Playtex, etc).

Sit on the toilet with your legs spread. Use one hand to open the vulva (lips). Using the other hand insert the applicator into the vaginal passage, slanting toward your tailbone (NOT UP!). Take a deep breath then exhale; hold your breath for the few seconds that it takes to insert (less pressure on your internal organs). Insert as far as your fingers, then press the plunger to move the tampon out of the applicator. Remove the applicator. Give the strings a slight tug to situate it properly, and you're good to go.

It may take a little practice, but you'll get it. They're SO much more convenient!

Well i was a virgin when i started using tampons too. At first when i didnt know what i was doing it hurt when i tried to insert it. Then one day i just relaxed and sat on the toliet with my legs apart and it slide right in without any pain. So relax and if you feel the tampon its not inserted right. It may take a few times but practice makes perfect. Good luck

a tampon is basically three part. the wide cardboard tube that hold the skinnier cardboard tube which is used to push the cotton through the larger tube. on the package it says to put your foot on the toilet lid so one is on the floor and the other raised. hold the end of the tampon with the string coming out of it with your thumb and middle finger an slide the tampon with the cardboard in as far as you can. then use the thinner piece of cardborad to push the cotton part in all the way. all you have to do is push the skinny cardboard piece in and it will push the cotton piece in. to remove, put your foot up again and pull onthe string. don't worry it won't get lost in there b/c the cervix will prevnt it from going anywhere other than the vagina. don't leave the tampon in for more than a few hours b/c you could get a deadly infection. good luck.

Just read the instructions in the box. And being a virgin has nothing to do with it. The tampon isn't going to take away your virginity or anything, so that doesn't really matter.

in case you have under no circumstances used a tampon earlier then you definately could surely carry on with an exceedingly easy tampon. they're going to be smaller and extra trouble-free to apply on the start. a good style is Playtex Slimfits. yet everybody has diverse alternatives. as quickly as you initiate utilising them basically attempt diverse manufacturers to be certain what you like terrific. i individually like Playtex manufacturers because of the fact they open all around quite of basically width sensible. Tampax Pearl is likewise a good call.

read the instructions first, sit down on the toilet , relax all muscles or it will hurt like h3ll ,( keep in mind that the applicator isn't suppose to stay in you), use one hand to open ur self hold the tampon wit the other using ur thumb and index finger insert and release the absorbent part into u with your middle finger .... don't be embarrassed to have your mom or older sister guide u thru this lol i had to help my sister with this

Just RELAX all your muscles. Dont freak out about it either because you will tense up for that too. If you have done tampons before, its just like all the rest in terms of how you put it in. But the plastic applicators go in easier than the cardboard ones.

virgin means nothing. very simple. sit on the toilet like your going pee. unwrap and push the tampon from the bottom in. right where u would be peeing from. it may feel a lil uncomfortable, but will go unnoticable soon after.Make sure only teh string is hanging out, not a piece of teh tampon or you'll never forget its there. try unscented to avoid breakouts

Really, all you have to do is follow the intructions that come with the box. But, here's the mistake I made: DON'T insert the applicater; very uncomfortable, really. Can you believe I did that? And admitted to it?!? LOL
