i cant open an email marked mps. or pps. what is the problem as my computer is fairly new. when i send an invoice it is coming up also as wps. why! i have loads stored on my computer and have no problem until now , i own a business and it is realy annoying as i have to send everything by fax also, please p;ease help??

If you are using Outlook Express, then go to the Options section. Go to the Security section and look for the allowed files.
.wps ? Is that Microsoft Works? Ask your clients to use Microsoft Word. Just tell them to use SAVE AS and pick Microsoft Word from the FILE TYPE section.

Not sure about .mps, but a .pps file is a Microsoft Powerpoint Presentation. Do you have Powerpoint installed on your computer? If not, you can install the free Powerpoint Viewer software from Microsoft to view .pps files.
Generally, a .wps file is created from the word processing component of Microsoft Works. Is that the product you are using to create invoices etc? Try saving it in a different format (do a File, Save As and choose something like .doc or .rtf)
Hopefully that is useful advice, though it is hard to give without full details.

you need the correct program to open up the file
for instance a fill with pps after it is a powerpoint file (So you need powerpoint to open this kind of file
wps file is a microsoft works word processor file (This can be imported to Word)
