There no prefixed or right number of course and it's linked with the age too. Any couple acts as it prefers and it depends mainly from the single partner need. About young people, some couple have sex every day while others every week. Problems could come when inside the couple one needs more sex to feel satisfied compared to the other. Here's why any couple that get along well (as kindred spirit) is very important under any points of views! With the age the average comes down undoubtedly.

As often as they want to. There is no rule that they have to have sex at a certain frequency or must not have sex more often than some arbitrary number. Different couples have different levels of activity, and even with the same couple it will vary from one time of their life to another.

I have red the other answers. Each one of you are entitled for your opinion. Sex for fun and sex for reproduction have different identities. You must all believe that sex for fun during the day may be short- that is satisfying lust. Sex for reproduction is for a purpose. During the day it is very rare that people have sex for reproduction. More over it is believed that children born out of intercourse during eclipse/ during certain women problems /conditions , weak women in mind and in strength unable to sustain Intercourse- are all either handicapped or mental problems. It is a natural phenomena that after the wedding you have it daily, then it comes down to alternate days, then at lest for 4 days you cannot, due to women problems. And after a child is born it is a different story.
Day or night, baby or no baby willingness is most important to have real pleasure. As some one has said there is no rule, but remember the interest to perform shall definitely reduce if you have sex more number of times.

As long as both are willing, there is no set frequency. It depends on your schedule, mood and opportunity. Just remember, neither should keep track of how many times it didn't happen, but how many times it did. Never use it as a weapon or for leverage during an argument. Enjoy it as often as you can but don't feel hurt if it can't happen just then. If mood, schedule or opportunity are not right, schedule for another time and don't pout. Enjoy!

i think maybe one or twice a week... but it should really depend if you're feeling the mood.. do it whenever when the mood strikes.
Having sex twice a week is healthy for you. :) and good for your marriage so you haven't lost touch with your love.
remember to spice it up a bit if it gets boring... ooo

As long as you both enjoy it, you have the time, it does not cause you any problem, you can have sex as many times as you wish.
