On a desktop ... maybe, however, a notebook has too many proprietary components & can almost never be user serviceable should something go wrong internally.

There are some good bargains about but there is also some rubbish. If you do want to get a reconditioned job buy a copy of Micro Computer Mart it's a weekly and only costs a couple of quid. Have a look at the ad's in there and check out the warranties with them. If you are happy then go for it.

Yes! I bought this one three years ago just had to get a card to make it wireless, also bought my daughter one for christmas from cash convertors. Chose carefully and shop around but there is a definate saving to be made
