What are the proper ways to ensure the naval piercing does not migrate or get rejected and gets healed faster?

What type of food to eat and not to eat? I understand that Zinc is important for the healing process, so what food is rich in that? Also seafood should be avoided, what about fish?

Also, can I do dumbbell exercises involving just the arms and squats?

Will the piercing get affected when I sit down

Wash it every day with antibacterial soap. Go to CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, or Eckherd and buy some sterile salt solution (it would be in the aisle with the contacts lens stuff). You can buy the spray or the squirt bottles. Put the solution on the piercing 2 -3 times a day if you can, but at least once. Don't play with it. Leave it in for the healing period- after the healing period is over feel free to change it to something new.
As for Zinc, I took a multivitamin. And yes, you can do your dumbbell exercises as long as you don't feel any pain.
You should be able to sit down comfortably. Dont put on any tight shirts or whatever and you'll be fine. Good luck!
